I thought The Iphone's Browser was fundamentally similar to OSX's Safari. I doesn't work on the IPhone 4s at all, but it seems to work on the iPad 2.

i prefer to use ps3 media server, i have yet to experience incompatibility except for maybe realpayer files but whatever. it's a tiny DLNA Java applet (works on pc&mac dunno about linux) that was originally made for use with the PS3 (hence the name) but actually works better with my ipad&iphone with the app
