While I can respect your opinion...I’m gonna suggest noticing the one thing all of the Continentals have, that the MKZ simply does not have. It has a bit of stance. The back is lower than the front, like a proper US luxo-barge. This, to me, gives it presence. It’s not trying to be sporty, it’s just trying to waft you

😁

The 1st generation modern Phantom was based on the Bangle-butt BMW E65/E66 7-series chassis. The 300, Magnum, and Charger were based on the Mercedes W210 E-class chassis.

The current A8 is not distinctive at all in the exterior styling department, and the A7 still looks pretty snazzy (tho not as good as the original A7)...so I think maybe that’s why they sell bad.

No, it should be P100³

And not storing them anywhere that has more than a 10° temperature variance....gotta keep that lid from blowing off somehow or another!

I think the ones that were supposed to save the environment were the brilliant in theory, biodegradable plastic bags that started degrading if you dared walk outside with one holding more than a pound of items during the high UV hours of 10am and 4pm, between March and September, anywhere South of the Mason-Dixon

And it's a 1.4t. Probably a bit underpowered...with the weight of the longroof and the 4-motion gear.

And sometimes it actually sounds great inside too! But more often, in my experience, the VQ sounds like a softball in a running garbage disposal. Very odd how some nearly identical cars can sound so different.

Delayed response. But. The Continental has perfect American luxury car stance. The CT6 only has perfect American luxury car stance when fully loaded...or in the commercial where I guess GM programmed the rear suspension to be lowered properly for stance.

I think that’s why Nissan has a radiator sized transmission cooler on the NV200 and gave it a zero towing rating (the Compass has the same garbage CVT).

That’d be almost perfection, but I say don’t lower it...and somehow figure out how to one up the double Camry wipers...with the FJ Cruiser triple (front, yeah I know) wipers!

I say install a set of these exact rims:

I think with the defective VW DSGs, it was (almost always) just a defective temperature sensor that caused very erratic behavior sometimes. Mine exhibited the fault, and they replaced the mechatronic unit with a probably refurbished one. It has never been as good as the original one at releasing the 2, 4, 6 clutch. No

I'd assume some form of Pleather or MB-Tex, no?

Totally with you, but you do realize $250 is half of the price of this Jeep?

You have 89.25mm of sidewall, a wide tire, and a relatively light car. Probably on the cusp of the limits of current tire technology. The VW, also light, had 78mm of sidewall and a very narrow tire. The heavy Tesla had 82.25mm of sidewall on a less wide tire than yours. Potholes have bent wheels (and popped a tire

That sounds awesome! But also likely above DT’s, um, ‘inexpensive’ price range. A lot of people knock the tape adapter, but high quality ones (as pictured) really do provide good sound quality (better than fm transmitters by order of magnitude, and better than some of the Bluetooth adapters I’ve tried). Just have to

Tape adapter has about a zillion times better sound quality, and is much less aggravating, than an fm transmitter...Bluetooth or not.

So indeed there is an aux input thru a tape adapter! Nice score :-)
