Someone over at I09 commented that it seemed like Whedon started to focus more on one show as another one was taking off. When Angel got bit he moved away from Buffy, then onto Firefly. Once Firefly was done he could focus on those other shows again.

I would be curious to know how one adult can force another adult to live in poverty. Did he act as the band's financial manager and dole out pay to the other members? If so and they weren't getting paid what they were promised why did he even have a band. Did they not have contracts stating what each member would get?
