No. Not even close. It is entirely different in terms of range and kinetic effect (penetration or lethal radius).

Thank you for correcting that none-sense: The RPG7 family has warheads anywhere from 40mm to 105mm dia. and between 0.7 and 5kg of explosive or thermobaric comp. — the thermobaric (tbg7) has a supposed lethal radius of 10m. The M433 40mm is what like 0.2kg max? No way they are close.

Awesome original piece! thanks Tyler.

Just for the record, according to the Commandant of the Marines Corps:

Why are you assuming that a US Coast Guard pilot is a woman?

And?

So they re-elected him?

So half of America’s population are halfwits? 50M and change.

Great article tyler. However the -ph spelling looks wrong to me:

Agreed. Very very little in this whole thing (like most geopolitical issues) is “black and white”.

This is an awesome rant. +1, even if i dont agree with the substance.

Time to put this old horse out to pasture. It is getting really old.

Thanks for having great up-to-the-minute info Tyler. Really well done.

Cute kitty bro.

Oh, but you know, you just KNOW somehow, because ISIS is evil and you know EVIL because you’ve got a knee jerk reaction you call an opinion

LOL. The Bulava ?

Makes perfect sense now.

How is it that they have come to know that exceeding the max g-loading causes structural deformation? How do they know how much structural deformation will occur at given g-loading?

Someone here with an engineering background will know more than I, no doubt. Pretty sure it all has to do with statistics, specifically those concerned with load & failure analysis.

They knew everyone would die if they tried to storm the place.
