@tech-tard: Happened to me with a few cheap, "forget-it's-there" Bluetooth dongles too.

As for number 5- I bought an external just for that purpose: instead of buying an independent 2.5" SATA drive for my laptop, I bought a small, portable Toshiba hard drive (which cost less than a SATA drive alone). The Toshiba disk was USB-powered (1-port). The Western Digital I put in the Toshiba enclosure wouldn't

@Denver: For Blackberry, Android, iPhone, and Windows Mobile smartphones, Shazam allots you 5 free "tags" per month. To use Shazam Unlimited, there is only a one-time fee.

@kozjegyzo: I was just ranting the other day about the lack of talent and originality in the majority of recent artists.

@nosivad: For those with a North-American GSM phone, I guess it's really lucky there are so many roaming partners that are around in case the cell phone towers become rendered useless.

@dlaciv12: Someone else may very well be home, though.

@Jordan Posey: The absence of a shortcut to navigate to your house isn't a preventative measure for thieves. Most robberies are targeted, but it's probably safe to say anyone walking down the street with a crowbar has access to your valuables.

@EroThraX: I agree with your second point very much. The same principle could apply for any navigational shortcut, though. As jeffeb3 pointed out in his comment, you could put "coffee" as the destination to find nearby coffee shops.

@John Milleker: That adds up to be 4368 hours, which is a good average based on levels of brightness. As I understand, EL wire will gradually dim until it no longer is visibly luminescent. Thanks for pointing this out!

@xcalibr: Alt+255. I've used it in Vista before

@wopper: A Nikon D300S.. :)

I had the (Sprint)HTC Snap for a short while before my (Sprint)HTC Hero. Those devices, plus the Evo (and a handful of others) all use the same battery. So keep in mind that if you are looking for a standard-size (1500-1800mAh) battery, you can punch in any 3 of those models. I got a good deal on my knock-off "OEM"

Hmm.. A dollar? Almost too good to be true.

@medleymind: I had used yxplayer and thought some of the clips were overwhelming for my HTC Hero. Maybe my lost frames are in this app.

@englishman: Yeah, but the .org TLD shouldn't be corporate either, just non-profit. and .net should be just communications or something. unfortunately, there are certain people that would disagree.

I noticed the Alternative spellings when I first used Windows Mobile 6.0 on my HTC Mogul :) haven't noticed it yet on HTC Hero 2.1 yet though. Probably because I don't care enough about the people I e-mail or message to use proper grammar. I'm a horrible person..

@iamlogansmith: Rich neighborhoods? Kid says he earned it all!
