I just felt like Sunrise led us on throughout all those flash forwards- they could have at least TRIED to explained things a bit more... And yeah, the ending was so painful to watch- L-elf finally admitting that Haruto was his friend only to see him pass away seconds later, such a heartbreaking moment.
I didn't think the ending was bad, but it could have been better. I think it seriously needed a couple more episodes to wrap things up more smoothly. But the ending still got to me, especially with what happened to Haruto... :[

Nice list. I have to say, Beyond the Boundary had moments that were just confusing or that seemed out of place, and I would totally swap it for Golden Time, which is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
