In a way I find it right on point. World War 1 is basically the death of a more idealized age of war. The music being upbeat and orchestral could be seen to reflect the idealism that pervaded the war early on, but then juxtaposed with the reality that it is.

We were well on our way to seamless drop in/drop out scenarios on the previous game I worked on. It’s possible, and it’s possible with a limited team of ~6 people on a AAA title.

Wording from the marketing suggested limited multiplayer capability. Before I left my previous company we were looking at making multiplayer sessions that you could seamlessly join and synchronize with so that you could have user-hosted “hubs” where others could join and leave at will.
