Go look at the drivetrain for a mid-engine AWD car and it will be made plain.

Goofy price? Last time I checked they were priced just under what a Toyota 86 costs up her in Canada at around $30K which I thought was a steal. The 350z launched as a $38k car up here.

Huh. I heard Ford Oakville was cutting jobs. Now I know why. The flex really was the coolest Volvo S80 ford ever made. And for everyone calling this a Wagon by buy a pre-07 V70 is a much better car. Same platform. Better seats, better interior, better engines, better chassis, better looks. spend the change on angle

My mum had a Viva, she still complains about it over 40 years later.

Yeah, Well if anyone can find a way to ratchet up costs at the dealer, despite decreased maintenance, it’s porsche.

Know what else is mind blowing? That’s a unibody car. It was the largest unibody produced by anyone when the platform was introduced in 1961. We always think of old american cars being body of frame. the amount of innovation in 1960s american auto industry is really incredible.

Liability. I bet for legal reasons they can’t, probably all going to the shredder.

Don’t worry she’s not starving herself to look thin. She’s just on that eastern block “diet”

(Rakija & Drinas because there isn’t anything to eat)

Not up here in Canada.

This! 500l/x and renegades are made on the same platform in the same plant(melfi, italy). Currently north american market 500s are taking up one slots in Chryslers Toluca mexico plant. Oh and people buy them, in fact if i was looking at a small Suv I would look at one. What other small SUV can you buy with 4wd and a

Here in Toronto I probably see more X4Ms than any other M car.

Find yourself a 80's Turbo Caravan, maybe add a 16V Turbo III motor. Then the whole family can win rad-wood!

These motors were originally intended to pull a plow and replace a horse or ox. People started building vehicles around them. Anyone who’s been to eastern eruope has seen similar things there, although usually just hooked up to a hay wagon.

Young people.

VW makes the Amarok in 2WD which is a traditional layout. And VW argentina also produced the hillman avenger as the VW 1500, so it’s hardly the only time ever.

Civic is made in Ontario Canada.

Because Honda consistently ranks among the highest total American content. Higher than gm. Lots of the parts that go into gm cars are made elsewhere. Whereas Honda's US operations supply most all the parts as well as do assembly.

Hey America. I’ll never forgive you for Torpedoing commercial aviation in Canada. Especially since it was to protect a plane that’s now grounded after killing hundreds due to Boeing’s incompetence and their regulatory capture of the FAA. It just wasn’t right, we need projects like that, Belfast is going to hurt over

This is funny it’s sort of like a volvo 240/740 situation.

Yes. but if you have the wherewithal to do it yourself rebuilding turbos is surprisingly cheap and easy and my guess this is that this guy has the skills and the distributors to rebuild these turbos for less than 200$ for the pair.
