Euros were using Si units. Americans converted to metric. Difference was so slight it went noticed.

Thing is we all do the use the metric system, you yanks just express it in an “imperial” notation. But in reality every “moon-unit” since the late 50's has been based off a metric standard when ANSI standardized american measurements around a metric reference.

Tricky. I’m taking a few liberties, but these can basically be thought of as a Van version of B-body (caprice, roadmaster, impala) since they don’t make a RWD car anymore the other option might be a Can-Van-ion? Problem is midsize vans are one of the few markets where fleet sales run the show. Since FWD is cheaper for

I don’t disagree with them being “better” in some ways.  After spending some time with 5G tronic and a ZF8HP I no longer hate automatics.

I’m glad they “get it”. You can have a brand with sporting pretensions without offering a manual. I think BMW has really lost it, and their dropping manuals is proof.

And really TVS > Centrifugal.

With all the other hypercars I agree with you. But Koenigsegg still really does it for me.

It doesn’t matter how this thing drives. On or off road.

No I checked. With freight and PDI it comes to 19,826 which is still only 14,800USD. With the current 1000$ incentive the cheapest 2019 equates to $14,043USD. But as others have said that is because we still get a 2.0 low-rent trim up here.

Starting at 21? That must be wrong. Up here in Canada they Start at $18,000 CAD whichis only $13,419 USD. Being that we’re comparatively poor up here and this segment is the most competitive I imagine our base model is de-contented Vs. the American one.  But an 8k spread?

Those OM612s are great. I’ve got a OM642 in mine, noticeably more power but it just hit the fan 7k/km outside of warranty. Trans replaced under warranty, starting to judder/hang again.

Easy. Sell a legacy wagon without the raised suspension or body cladding put the WRX motor in it. 3-pedal only.

Well the RVs has gotten bigger and heavier.

Suzuki stopped selling cars in the US/Canadian markets.

Given the size of the pickup market in the US. Ford would be crazy not to offer a pickup version of the transit connect. I’ve been saying this for a while that if truly small pickups come back it will be as a unibody fwd platform. Rwd flatforms are comparatively expensive so producing a whole platform for a smallish

Nothing. 911s especially new ones are dull. Porsche, along with BMW can go get stuffed.

Right. Because we all know Women are incapable of sexual abuse.

Yes, with triple Webber 45s.

If it’s overpriced.

They really aren’t hard to flip over.
