This is too heartbreaking. Being the exact same age as Diante and the father of one daughter, I can’t imagine what his family is going through. I agree, mostly. It is sad, sure, but it isn’t one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies. It’s more down to earth and intimate than some of the other movies, it just didn’t grip me like I thought it would.
