It is absolutely hilarious that Ubisoft says this game is not political lol

I’m interested to see how this comes out. The first two are just kinda mediocre but fun shallow nonsense. I’d be down for more of that with better graphics, more content, more characters, etc. But! I’d be even more interested to see if they actually move it up a notch into a game with more legitimately deeper and bette

It’s been almost 25 years and I just realized the Playstation logo is PS....all this time I thought it was a P with a fancy design flourish at the bottom. Wow.

After reading this I’m now pretty interested in playing it. I’ve heard people who are big fans talking about it online, but ya know, I just don’t trust random internet forums for being unbiased. But this is a pretty solid description and rec for it...I’ll have to check it out.

I really hope Reggie gave some random kid like 50 grand for their user name

I don’t know Twitter well....isn’t it like....really surprising that he was able to get the user name @Reggie ?

Now playing

One of capitalism’s greatest trick is that having choice in buying products is freedom, and that’s IMO where a lot of this anger comes from. People feel personally attacked by having their buying “freedom” changed.

yea Don’t Starve is a good example, I in theory really liked everything about the game but just could not get into it at all. I tend to prefer Roguelikes where there is general headway forward outside of the actual runs of the game, like in Dead Cells you still collect cells and buy upgrades no matter how much you die.

well that’s what’s weird is i love roguelikes - i’ve beaten and played the crap out of Darkest Dungeon, I love Dead Cells, I loved Organ Trail which reminds me of Death Road to Canada, and a bunch of others I’m sure I can’t remember. Something just didn’t click for me but I may try it again with some of the things you

“Big fan of Rep Omar... let’s...have...more ammo for Trump.”

see how that works? anything can be edited in any way to sound like anything. Don’t ever support that - it’s idiotic and wrong. Everything should be taken in context and should be taken completely.

i work in tech and strongly disagree :)

thanks for the response! I kept trying to play it alone or with my partner and we were just like...confused. It wasn’t really clear what options are better than others, the actual driving part of it always felt like a randomized crap shoot that would inevitably result in someone or the vehicle dying. I may give it

lol this is so awesome. Long live fighting games!

I’m curious how well balanced the strategy is - it sounds like combat is solid once you get a hold of it, but how is resource management? After being burned by The Flame in the Flood and Death Road to Canada, both of which I do not understand the high ratings for as I found them to be terribly balanced and broken, I’m

I...hate the tech world.

I think the general response of internet hatred will prove to be pretty educational for folks. Just on an individual level people do not want to receive many many death threats. I think also with Anthem and Fallout 76 I would assume(?) they’ve made a fair chunk less money than projected.

yea that is definitely fair to say. It’s (hopefully?) been a learning experience for devs to be very clear on what they say when releasing service/online/whatever games. Games are just incredibly complicated, more than films, TV, books, etc. I imagine some of these changes were just....changed and people spoke about

Yea there’s definitely some stuff in there, so you’re right there. I do feel like that stuff has either mostly come to pass or has been changed due to player feedback or just general game development changes. Like, promising Pirate Legend rewards in a chest and instead having to buy them at a shop is not what I’d

If you’re not playing Sea of Thieves you’re really missing out - it is such an absolute fucking blast to play. I always have fun. It’s silly, cute, hilarious, hectic, and calm. It’s trying to be something unique and, after lots of free updates, it is finally really succeeding at that. All this new stuff coming is even

SoT never lied to people about what it was. They never did anything actually wrong, as far as I can remember at least. All they did was release a game that was overpriced for the amount of content it offers. Nothing was misrepresented, there were never major security breaches, no social media disasters, etc. unlike
