I’m also finding myself buying games for my Switch that I’d usually get cheaper on Steam. I think the point you make is dead on - there are SO MANY good indie titles nowadays and a bunch of solid mainstream games and being able to actually play them on a portable system is a surprisingly huge plus. Like, I thought it

yea i played Firefly when it first came out a WHILE ago - I remember liking it a lot but don’t remember the specifics heh

ohhh yeah hahaha i was thinking more of like...moving in real life lol. Yes, video games definitely help with coordination for sure :)

well, i should add my “nothing better” is sit down games :) ALTHOUGH i would argue that LARPing is also the best, but then you REALLY need the right group of people or it goes south fast, even moreso than RPGs, probably because it’s so dependent on physical interaction and communication and role playing.

What’s perfect for the Switch? Honestly, any time anyone brings this type of console question up my mind immediately goes high philosophy. Different consoles are just a result of capitalism - capitalism sucks and it limits and confines art to competing marketable products. Everyone just wants one console that can do

Nothing is better than a good table top RPG. Nothing. I will argue this to the grave - it is the ultimate open world game, you can do anything, it lasts as long as you want, it’s as creative as you want. It’s absolutely the best.

I really loved this Viewpoints video, it touched on a lot of my feelings around games and frustration. Games are trying to be endless, so many games want to be openworld and playable forever and that’s just not a good thing. No one should be playing a game every day forever because we have lives, it’s just not

oh

The Resistance is absolutely the superior Mafia style game simply because no one ever gets kicked out of the game. It makes the game so much better, everything else is almost unplayable after. It’s sooooo fun! I’m always down to play it.

WoW is the ultimate nostalgia. When it came out....it was beyond unreal. I had never experienced anything like that in my life, it totally changed gaming and its potential. People cite other MMOs before it, and yes those played a part in starting the genre, but nothing compares to WoW and the massive development of

If you really like DMing...it’s a whole new ball game. I think all players should try DMing, but it’s definitely not for everyone, but if it strikes you oooooo boy is it amazing. I’ve been mostly DMing for several years now, and I want to play also but....I just love DMing so much. It’s so much fun doing it for

you’re a saint

I always support indie games first beyond AAA games because they deserve it more. Unfortunately I don’t have a DS any more :\ if it was on Switch I’d get it! Golf Story is probly still my favorite Switch game :)

Primal Aspid is the Donald Trump of Hollow Knight. Annoying as hell, dangerous, spewing in all directions, and every time you think you got it caught it escapes...and it JUST DOESN’T STOP.

When are companies going to realize these people aren’t the communities for their games? They’re just very loud bigots who make up a very small % of the players. Just ban them from the game when they threaten people or use hatespeech and move on.

Reading this article makes me even less interested in listening to their podcast after the comment I wrote a couple hours ago replying to kotaku xp....I also just read up a little on them and...I don’t think they know what a leftist is? I mean I guess they must? it’s just I’ve read some quotes now that lead me to

Being nice is definitely possible and absolutely is a crucial part of progressive and radical change. Also....3 white dudes being obnoxious on a podcast about politics sounds like a wholly unremarkable and annoying experience. I never heard of the term “dirtbag left” til this video, but it sounds horrible. I’ll give

The response to this game is really telling about the state of the video game world. This was the only major game that looked even remotely new and interesting in all of E3 and it was barely talked about. People just focused on sequels and gritty action/RPG/open world hybrid games. If we want games to be quality art

thanks for the review! It also makes me very concerned, but the concern isn’t new as it’s been building over the last couple weeks as outlets began letting out impressions etc.

this was my question as well, seems unlikely they would spend time and resources arresting people who were just TOO good at headshots.
