Usually if you have a muff you have a bulky coat/jacket on as well. So, perhaps in some cases. But my experience is no, the coat sleeve will not fit into the muff.

Looks like they already make muffs with a strap to go around your waist. And a strap for your neck. Huh. 

I had 2 muffs as a child, one was real rabbit fur and one was faux (I grew up in the ‘80s). They were both on a string that I wore around my neck. And while I looked adorable, any time I had to pull my hands out of the muff it was tragic. Minnesota winters are very cold.

I’m currently trying to find mid-rise or low-rise jeans in my size and I’m reluctant to give up my jeans that don’t fit because they’ll be almost impossible to replace. High-rise hard pants physically hurt me after a long day at work, so I never wear them if I can help it. Tunics & hip-length shirts for the win.

If she pays them a living wage and isn’t horrible to them, it’s not that big of a deal.
