My name is Devon, it’s a completely normal name yet I have spent my entire life explaining that it isn’t Kevin, it isn’t spelt Devin, and no I don’t care if you pronounce it Dev-on or Dev-in. I still receive emails at work at least once a week addressed to Kevin, it’s the burden my parents gave me.

Naming your child

The way he says “industry” pains me every time.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Agreed, if I listen to his pod it’s despite him. Amazing how he makes every conversation about himself.

That was my first thought as well.

Naw, he’s a con man. None of his “businesses” are legit, not even the real estate house of cards.

My Dad did something similar when I went to college. He sold my ‘64 Chevelle for $1,000 because it was a “money pit”. I did all the work on it and the stereo alone cost me more than $1k.

Am I the only one who thinks the interior looks 1980's bad?

I wouldn’t go around admitting this.

When the engine gets high in the RPMs you should probably shift, just like your automatic (probably) does.

So you like sitting in your car but won’t throw the extra buck to the person stuck out in the cold pumping your gas? Your fiance sure is lucky.

Heated seats suck. I’ve had multiple cars with them, the only thing they’re good for is turning them on for an unsuspecting passenger on a 90+ degree day and watching them squirm.

Wow. That’s amazing and horrible all at once. Congrats?

As a millennial motorcyclist who has money and buys a new bike every few years the answer is: no. As others have said, the bikes are expensive, technologically behind the times, and the brand image is not something I want to be associated with. I have met young people who are interested in riding and think they want

He clearly has an issue with a) people “cutting in line” b) lane splitting c) motorcycles or d) all of the above. Not worth arguing since logic and rational thought appear to be out of the question.

You asked for a study showing that motorcycles ease congestion so I gave you one. Not trying to justify this rider’s stupid behavior, but if you miss the point on how every lane splitting bike is the equivalent of removing a car from the road then that’s your problem.

In theory lane splitting should only be done in congested traffic. If the flow of traffic is at or above the speed limit there is no reason to lane split. Personally I try to avoid splitting at speeds over 50 mph on the freeway (65 speed limit where I live).

It’s actually safer for the biker when two cars are next to each other as we can be relatively certain you won’t change lanes.

It stands to reason that someone who will illegally lane split would also be the type of person who rides unsafely.
