Agreed, great story. One other nitpick though:

You sound fun.

Fixed it once, still says Vauxhall in the last paragraph.

A) Pretty sure you don’t have much, if any, experience riding (not driving) bikes B) In reading one post I can see you use ‘again’ as a crutch C) This was my last visit to Lanesplitter.

Unfortunately, even as a responsible, legal lane splitter in CA I routinely experience people using their vehicle’s block my path. Luckly the way I ride allows me to easily avoid them and I’m smart enough to not retaliate. I agree that this driver does not seem to be that type, more just not aware of what is happening

I don’t read it that way but can see how you would. My interpretation is he’s relaying how, based on his experience, even if a biker does something that bugs you its not worth getting upset about and trying to block their path, not necessarily specific to this case. I think its unclear weather or not the car saw the

The comment says don’t be an asshole and the article says don’t be an asshole, what’s the contradiction?

I could be mistaken, but I believe the “this” by Sean was meant agree with the part where we SHOULDN’T get all Mad Max on each other.

This! Or more specifically if you can get it out of Ducati, how do they justify the price?

Meh, I’ve already got this:

*Unless you’re in California where no one seems to understand this common courtesy.

And everyone will break an ankle unless they quit walking first, or will drown unless they stop swimming first, or will choke unless they stop eating/drinking, or will be in a plane crash unless they stop flying, or will get cancer unless they stop doing anything because everything gives you cancer, etc etc etc.

Yes,

There are a few reasons, some of them are that its gets you where you’re going faster, prevents being rear ended, keeps air cooled engines from over heating and lessons congestion for traffic in general.

Statistically it is has been shown to be safer and result in less serious injury when accidents do happen (there’s

Maybe his dad’s a cop, they get on and off that side in the States so they’re not stepping into traffic.

Compared to the picture directly above it I would agree that the swing arm looks extended a couple of inches. I also agree it detracts from the looks.

I’m sure someone else has said it, but there is ZERO chance I pull in front of a vehicle that just pulled a gun on me.

Just pretend the line is the “motorcycle lane”, if both cars stay on their side of the line, as you stated they normally do, then everyone will be fine. Also, you will see the bike coming in your mirrors.

Hank, I understand what you are saying, however bikes sharing your lane with you shouldn’t be hanging out next to you, they should be constantly passing cars. I agree that cars move around in their lanes, but in my experience they are quite easy to avoid.

I didn’t reach out to them as I would expect their response to be “the jacket did its job” which it technically did and also wouldn’t want a replacement as I wouldn’t trust the gear. I wear a Triumph Raven jacket now, nice thick leather. I do agree that GoGo’s jacket fit and looked great though, which is rare being

Personally I think 25 is too low, I’d say 50 is a good cut off and also allows it to be more easily enforced as police can maneuver through traffic at that speed.
