My personal stance is that lane splitting is safe and reasonable up to 50 mph and completely unnecessary at speeds higher than that, but in a place where it isn’t legal and not as expected I can understand why they catch you off guard.

Sorry, I live in CA where it is legal, no excuses for the law breakers.

Yes, if your mirrors are properly adjusted a bike coming up behind you (not when they’re actually next to and passing you) would be directly in your mirrors.

I don’t trust GoGo Gear, had one of their textile jackets that shredded worse than my Vans jeans in a 10 foot slide. Too bad cuz I loved the look.

As long as you don’t do anything crazy you won’t hit a lanesplitter and they won’t hit you.

Not meant to be rude, but if you looked in your mirrors a bit more often you’d see the bike coming and it wouldn’t appear out of your blind spot, assuming they’re traveling at a reasonable speed.

I’m a huge fan of my Tour Master Solution WP Air Boots, they have kept my feet dry in hours of downpour and aren’t too hot in summer heat. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/tou…

I also have the cheap River Roads Taos waterproof jacket and pants combo, and while the construction is shit (both are coming apart at the

Having never ridden a cruiser myself I am a bit curious as to how the handling compares to something like a Bonneville or other standard bike. Did you find the ergonomics awkward or did you quickly adjust to having your feet forward?

Looks like it mounts where the engine guard / crash bars normally would.

Scrolled through the comments just for this, that battery percentage was driving me crazy!

That’s not true or things like the Playground wouldn’t be there.

1) Everyone you meet who doesn’t ride will try to convince you that it’s dangerous and you should stop. Just get used to it.

I pre-ordered the Bell Bullitt, waited for months, got it, loved the look and open feel, discovered its not great a highway speeds, realized the build quality is mediocre at best (scratches itself, chinstrap button fell off, etc), and now only wear it when I want to look good and won’t be riding far. At least my 5

I happen to be related to a police motor who has been stuck riding a Harley and is finally getting upgraded to a BMW. From what he says, pretty much all of the folks who ride them agree the BMWs are way better for the job, however they’re often not the people making the decisions. While performance is part of the

You go to the city and pay a small fee for a permit to use their otherwise worthless piece of land. OR just cut the chain keeping the gate closed, do your thing and get out before the cops show up. Depends on how you feel about being legal.

I’m guessing “professional driver on closed course” would be the legal loop hole.

First of all, congrats, you’re doing an awesome job! The content and personality of the site make it easy to ignore any mistakes that are made.

Haha, yeah I’ve hit that point in life too, that’s why I figured if I knew you probably did too.

If you’re the Clippers do you try to get the Bulls to swap you Noah for Jordan? Sure you lose some athleticism, but there’s no way you win a championship with DJ, he makes way too many dumb mistakes, especially in the post.

I’m guessing you were being facetious, but just in case, Croig = @CafeRacersOfInstagram aka their other IG account (aka hipster bullshit or beautiful bikes depending on your view point).
