George Foreman wouldn’t have had a problem.

At the same time does a cheap car have to rattle and creak as you drive it.

Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Let VW put that warranty on EVERY car. Maybe THEN VW will be back on my map.

My uncle bought a brand new Corsica hatch in 1990. It was the v6 LT in two-tone teal and gray with gray “sport” seats. It went to my cousin who wound up burning out the transmission

Thanks for this. I know its dumb knowledge to have, but I’ve never heard of this before.

3/5 but all categories are pretty much covered

Alfa 4C.

OCD loves company.

Great story telling, Tom. There’s a nice Jean Baudrillard quote (from his slim and wonderful book America) that I like to break out for such occasions, particularly in an essay about identity:

This is what I got from it: The Cadillac CTS V-Sport is a car.

Came hoping to see Bette. She has really grown and is so adorable. Nice job, Matt and Mrs. Matt.

I cannot figure out what they thought they would accomplish by pulling sideways on the roof. That’s a good way to roll it onto it’s side. Any extraction would be pulling forwards or backwards, even diagonally. Pulling from the top center would only tip it onto it’s side no matter what was stuck.

Well, in a previous movie, he flexed so hard his arm broke out of its cast, then he stole an ambulance, crashed it into a drone, ripped the Gatling gun off the drone, and used it to shoot down a helicopter. So torpedo kicking is not out of place here.

I’ll suspend my disbelief pretty far if it’s an enjoyable movie. The 26-mile-long runway in the sixth film is a prime example of me going, ‘Meh, it’s fun watchin.’

I mean... if anyone’s going to kick a torpedo...

Especially since used RVs depreciate like a condom out of its wrapper.

Which is why labeling a people who were born in a certain era is idiotic since anyone is subject to this sort of thing, just change the product.

Fixating on a monthly payment as the “hurdle” for affordability is nothing new. Baby boomers with 15 or 30 year notes on RVs are a prime example.

I wish I hadn’t.
