You’re comparing apples to oranges. An increase on the corporate tax rate does not get passed on to the consumer with the same correlation as an import tax. Corporations rarely pay tax on profits because they can plan around it. Ask Apple how much they pay in corporate taxes despite being one of the most profitable…

You’re assuming obviously that these illegal immigrants aren’t working, aren’t buying American goods and services and are therefore contributing nothing to the economy. Big assumptions.

There is none. A wall won’t keep out drugs or illegal immigrants. Drugs are mostly smuggled in by transportation and tunnels, and most undocumented immigrants since 2012 are people who are here working legally but overstay their visa.

Wait wait wait. You claim to be a Libertarian, but because there’s no truly “free” trade, you think we should tariff the shit out of other countries because of illegal immigrants (a problem, by definition, they’re neither able nor incentivized to fix)???
