I'm digging Carplay (and to a lesser extent Renault/Chevy takes on the idea) since in dash nav is no longer really necessary for most people and using the phone's abilities is much more cost effective.

I doubt people who consider this would cross shop those. It's always this or an Accord. Maybe an Optima.

No question, but I feel like there's been plenty of quality engineering in the last 20-30 years, the objectives (in the US market) are just not what they used to be.
