Oh look it’s DRM punishing legit consumers again.

The soundtrack is so good. Such a shame only a small audience was able to enjoy it.
It’s like the Bert and Ernie thing. People wanted them to be gay so bad but at the same time we don’t often see a relationship like that between two straight men portrayed as normal and healthy.
Yield signs are still mandatory...as you always have to yield. If there is no one to yield to there is no reason to stop...but yielding =/= stopping.
Uniform brake force =\= uniform tire deceleration. One you accept that you'll see why AWD stops faster on snow and ice.
Yeah, but all the tires don’t always have traction.
Man, who even cares? Its a Pokemon game, it’s not going to be some groundbreaking experience. I’m getting it because I think I’ll have a fun adventure with a metal Murderpenguin. That’s enough for me.
The corporate tribalism at Ubisoft is so strong that it’s pretty well-known that the most paid and ‘favored’ by the executives will be protected from all HR fronts - if ever.
So all the people who turned a blind eye to years of sexism and sexual harassment get a big pay raise, and the victims get a tiny one. Yeah, that’ll help morale.
At this point the mismanagement at Ubisoft is just baffling. Like, you’re bleeding devs because people aren’t sure if they will get a competent boss or a guy being “protected” from HR complaints.
This might be the most pointless leak ever lol. I’d be shocked if they did anything drastic for this remake. Honestly probably going to skip this game since platinum is still quite playable.
“But the exact amount of the raises will vary depending on the employee’s position at the company, sources said. According to the worker group ABetterUbisoft, junior staff will receive a 5-7% increase, while the most senior staff could see their pay increased by up to 20%. That would mean a lower-level developer might…
huh, so they ARE adding combat?
How cynical of you.
ROMs are just ROMs, it’s the emulator that matters. It’s actually better than the Genesis Mini’s emulation, because that had crazy amounts of audio lag that doesn’t exist in the NSO app.
It’s honestly not that great. It’s a quirky title that acted as more of a tech demo for the system (namely lighting and particle effects).
Mental health is a much more complex issue then just telling people to seek help. If only it were so simple.
Yep. We put our deposits down, and moved on. It’s a handheld console; there’s not exactly a ton to keep discussing.
Seriously, how can they rerelease first departure R and not Second Evolution? It would easily sell better given the original SO2’s clout among JRPG fans. I was waiting for it for the past few years, but eventually caved and played it on emulator. Would love to have it on Switch.
So can we get a port of the ‘currently PSP-exclusive’ remake of Star Ocean 2 for PC/Switch/PS now? I don’t think it was even sold digitally on Sony’s PSP shop.
