I’m playing the game on XBox (XSX specifically) and it hasn’t crashed a single time. Smooth sailing so far. Are you playing on a different XBox?

What is it with you people. You just think games media should pretend that emulation doesn’t exist?
Retropie is *perfectly* legal, per existing US Supreme Court precedent. As is legally backing up games you own. And getting (m0st) games legally isn’t that hard, given the internet is a thing.
Yeah, I’m not going to go crying “censorship” over this or anything, but IMO wearing the Confederate flag was a good, quick intro to Phil Cassidy and the kind of (terrible) person he is.
I’m torn on this. As said, he clearly wasn’t an endorsement for the symbol, he was an idiot and a fuckup. So it seems unnecessary to remove it. I find it different compared to like Dukes of Hazzard, where the main characters are supposed to be likeable heroes but their car has a half dozen pro-confederacy aspects to…
I think the point is that the games, while aiming for different canons separate from the MCU, adhere too closely to the MCU designs of the characters without fully committing to actual likeness, and that can make them look jarring, in a “close but not really”, “Walmart Avengers” kind of way.
Good, Denuvo didn’t do anything but hurt paying customers. Games were pirated just fine as far as I could tell
My dad brought home pirated tapes for the Atari after reading about it on Kotaku. Now he’s in prison.
Hey, here’s a fun fact: Metroid Dread has been out for less than two weeks and it’s already become by far the best selling game in the franchise. Which is strange, because a bunch of weird nerds on here kept assuring me that its sales had been fatally crippled thanks to one Kotaku article.
Are you not aware that there have been official Mario LEGO sets for over a year now?
I wouldn’t be surprised if they have their own sets cooking. Based on these pics on the post, they’re certainly better than anything I could ever create, but compared to the crazy detail a lot of LEGO sets have? These don’t seem that great.
There are significantly better medieval castles and buildings in the options…
I’m in awe of the effort, but am I the only one that looks at these sets and thinks it doesn’t look really LoZ-themed? Take away the Hyrule insignia and LoZ characters and it just looks like a generic medieval set. I would’ve gone for some more iconic looking locations from the games.
“not all games are actually guaranteed support” and “we haven’t really found something that we could throw at this device that it couldn’t handle” aren’t mutually exclusive.
Those claims were more about technical performance and this is more about general playability.
I never got the impression from any of their media releases that vr was ever going to work on this. I'll give you the the "those that don't work with proton" part of that though.
Considering they are calling these ‘Definitive’ versions are are dumping in and asking for a lot of money. I would not be surprised if they reached out and renewed some of their licenses.
Previous remasters of GTA have been real trash, and it looks like this is actively trying to rectify it on Rockstar’s part.
I’m seeing a lot of negativity in this thread and it has to be because people don’t remember how awful the shooting mechanics were in 3-San Andreas.
Being able to fire and actually hit something is huge. Its something these games have desperately needed overhauled.
