An atari cartridge run is just about as cheap as you could possibly get for carts.

It’s fair use and legal to mod things, including software so long as you do it right. It’s part of the “free market” argument Corporate Capitalists love to make.
The technicality of whether a mod is legal via copyright is whether it used or distributed any assets owned by the copyright owner. You can even sell some mods perfectly legally if they didn’t use any tools that forbid commercialization, didn’t use copyright assets/code and didn’t base its created assets/code to make…
Come on Ari, you can do better than this. We don’t need Kotaku writers plumbing the depths of shit that Gizmodo does.
I also don’t even really understand it. These games are extremely shallow in every way except the leveling and manipulation of pokemon. (Not that there is much depth there but it’s the only place where depth exists in this series)
You should care when a series takes a diametrically opposing gameplay style. It would be like making Call of Duty a RPG as a mainline entry.
It means exactly what I said more than ever before because you said it yourself: Retailers aren’t holding onto these like they did in the past. Which means what Sony has sold has also reached consumer hands faster than normal.
Here’s hoping they TRULY understand they need to make it more like Saints Row 1-3 or classic GTA instead of a bad Matrix/Infamous clone with unnecessary guns and cars...
The PS5 and Xbox Series have broken their own respective sales records for the time available. PS5 sold over 13 million and Xbox Series over 8 million so far. I believe the PS5 is breaking the PS2's first year sales, also. The PS4 sold about 10 million in its first year. And you can’t say it’s just because of scalpers…
Well, they lost sales from me with this bullshit.
It’s kind of funny that they didn’t re-implement it for at least the PC version. I mean, the only reason why they didn’t release it was that it’d get that dreaded AO rating and that companies like Walmart wouldn’t carry it.
I enjoyed Breath of Fire 1-4 fishing. Each having their own charm and uniqueness. 3 was my favorite combo of style and play though.
Don’t forget counting the billions in revenue GTA V has brought in for them. Those poor little buggers, everything should be sacrificed to make sure they get that number counted right.
Their decline started with “Choice” but it was exuberantly accepted by Humble themselves when they decided to no longer let you stiff them a tip.
Fog WAS an aesthetic choice as well as a technical workaround. Most of the time.
I believe the general notion is that this is a port of the 360 version that is, essentially, bifurcated and duct taped to Unreal Engine. Which would explain the glitches that appear from that version but not previous versions and some of the general graphics wonkiness and odd implementations of “improvements”.
It’s a no bake cheesecake with a pretzel crust and instead of a coulis it is jello with strawberries inside.
That is VERY dependent on where it is. There’s a reason why most gas stations don’t break ground when sold and no longer a gas station. At best you’ll see the pumps and canopy removed but suspiciously the concrete remains unless it was developed into something worth much much more.
I think we should discuss disbanding unions altogether (as we know them today, at least) and forcing these issues constitutionally. Since, really, unions are in theory meant to protect our rights and freedoms while working. We shouldn’t need unions and they skim worker pay all the same, sometimes dollars on the hour.
Oh boy! I sure hope they improve it like they do with their systems and their stability updates! Though, Sony has outclassed Nintendo there lately, too...
