Mandalorian was testing a new way to film TV shows. It succeeded in not only aesthetic but technology and cost effectiveness. As it matured so did the scenery and set pieces. They got more ambitious as things kept working and keeping in budget and meeting audience approval.

Cloud Gaming is this industry’s STD/STI.

You will lose your rights and ownership in sacrifice for convenience*

They wouldn’t be back in hardware by participating. They’re providing software for Microsoft’s “pseudo-hardware game”

If you don’t have money it’s almost impossible to get proper mental health help anywhere in the world. The exceptions can be counted on two hands, BARELY. Even in the handful of countries where it’s most accessible and accepted form of illness, there’s still stigmas and consequences that are very real barriers.

It’s funny how the quarantining contestants, now two seasons, have the absolute least rapport among themselves of them all. It’s very sterile and unfeeling. Not that I want it faked but it just seems interesting that they are either not showing some sweet moments or none exist like previous years.

When you use Retroarch be sure to use CRT phosphor filters within it. It’s basically the exclusive reason why I bother with Retroarch over other solutions. Not that Retroarch is bad but it’s not perfect and I don’t need an AIO solution but I sure need a fairly easy and unified CRT phosphor filter solution so it wins

Or it’s hyperbolic satire, ffs...

Courts have affirmed the right to download “cracked” software for personal use. It’s still illegal to distribute it, though. (and not every “crack” or method of cracking is legal) Though even with distribution courts are having trouble defining the parameters. Welcome to the “justice” system.

A self-righteous warrior like you would.

You’re just wrong and outdated on everything. Courts, especially in europe but even in the USA, have affirmed the right to not only back up and circumvent DRM protections for personal use but you can also download already “cracked” versions if you own the original in many cases. It’s not all encompassing but it’s also

This is fine. It just incredibly reinforces my decision to go full Steamdeck ahead. With Retroarch on Steam and SteamOS, it couldn’t be easier for a power user to get EXACTLY what they want, including proper CRT phosphor filters, and you know, working games.

I don’t know why absolutism took over or how the concept of when to and when not to apply mutual exclusivity happened; but I imagine it happened around the time people online thought they should be clever and fake it all the time.

It’s nothing like a collapse. I don’t understand why the media is framing it like they are but it’s absolutely insane. It’s broken, make no mistake, but it’s not from a collapse but from a critical and slightly inexplicable overload.

The problem with gaming streaming services is that they scale linearly. Until they crack that, it’s all useless as a replacement solution (to say nothing of what a nightmare that would be if streaming gaming got that popular).

More importantly, the games that didn’t get cracked didn’t sell any better than expected. For games that took a while to crack, they also didn’t see a sudden sales dip after cracking, either.

I think we should all just say it:

I think the Hyrule one isn’t refined enough. Clever, yes, but does it scream Hyrule Castle to me? Not really. For what will be an expensive set regardless, it is just too simplified for practicality than what was good for it, really.

There’s a large market for illicit drugs. Doesn’t mean a reputable business should suddenly go delve into that market because there’s money to be made.
