The Devil Drives a Mustang (Rotary Pending)

Who cares? If there is one thing Texas has an abundance of, it’s space. Imagine how much MORE of an epic shithole Houston would be if it was packed into the space of Manhattan.

GM stores those SUVs out at Hensley Field, which is also where the Robert E. Lee statue removed from a Dallas-area park currently resides (and where the Ebola nurse lady’s dog briefly lived while in quarantine).

The vehicular landscape is fairly boring these days. Shit tons of similar looking crossovers and shit tons of engorged giant pickups. Makes one miss the good ole’ days of the 80's when manufactures gave you a huge array of choices. You could get a wagon, suv, sedan, weird little sports car, so on and so on. Today?

WAY better build quality - far more premium, and consistently faster. Each has their strengths.

There’s two sides to every story, quit being a fan boy.

Here you go:

Model 3 is priced against luxury cars, but it's more of a performance sedan. A jetta has a nicer interior

Diminishing returns if you toss it in a bulky, heavy CUV with a DCT. Plenty of sub-2-liter turbocharged cars get great gas mileage.

Obligatory;

Everyone is over reacting here. Look at it this way - the explorer is rear wheel drive, IRS, the rear track is 66.9 inches. The current mustang is of course rear wheel drive, IRS, and has a rear track of 63-65" depending on model. This is just a packaging exercise to share some engineering costs. Remember that the ST

they can only swing to the right. Not both ways.

Michigan has that stuff too: (with minor edits)

Why is everyone arguing with you about this? So confusing. So people aren’t allowed to simply even discuss the frustrating delays on their dream car?

You’ve not complained about anything trivial in the last 6 months? At all? Even realizing there are other issues?

Counterpoint: Contracts are a thing, and people don’t generally get to those advantaged positions by allowing themselves to be cheated financially.

Favorite car? Wide track.

What is it with the GOP and cruising?

They were giving $600 a week to the unemployed and may continue to do that assuming the Senate oks the extension. That's on top of state unemployment.

I dunno if I would ever use the word “truck” to describe the H1.....it can barely fit a spare tire in the “bed”

I could see it for a young healthy person, as you say. And maybe borrow from the sports world and isolate in a bubble, since it’s (theoretically) a temporary situation

Yip, and I would insist on a suitable pay package -- around 33% more should cover it.  Plus decent accommodation, food and the rest.
