That and the GTI is now 5-door only, and I can still get the Civic as a 2-door.
Must be a fairly high density area. I live in a Metro of 7 million with a core city of 1.3 million. But it’s big and spread out. The overall area of my Metro area is about 9,300 square miles.
I haven’t seen a mailman actually walk a route in almost 30 years. Everywhere I have ever lived the mailbox was curbside and the mailman would just pull up, exchange mail, and drive off.

Is it a little creepy taking a road trip without worrying about catastrophic mechanical failure or the possible McGuyver grade repairs you may have to do in Autozone parking lots?
The fuel injected non-turbo FB and FC RX-7's are probably the closest the rotary has ever come to being reliable, especially relative to their peers. I used to have one at 160,000 miles that still ran sortof OK. My mother’s Iron Duke equipped 1981 Chevrolet Monza couldn’t reach 100,000 without lunching its own oil…

Why would I believe anything a former porn star says about vehicle reliability?
Gotta love government contracts. The bid stipulated that the winner had to be built in France by a French company. So there you have it; Peugeot built G-classes.
I couldn’t help but read that whole thing about the value of patina and how people try to make fake patina, and think “gee, this sounds like the worn out jeans fad”.
