Jeep has a long history of teasing stuff that they have absolutely no intention of ever producing.

A little extra tidbit on this for you Mr Tracy.

It’s an amazing Vietnam-era truck that took on the same role as the venerable Dodge trucks that served U.S. armed forces in World War II and in the Korean War

“Designed by Giugiaro!”

Just was never interested. It’s not that I hate Jerry Seinfeld, I just never had any desire to actually watch the show. And my parents weren’t into it either so it just never got played in my home.

You have my vote.

This will come as a shock to you. I am 37, and while I was a little young to watch it when it premiered in 1989 (I would have been 6) I was a teenager during the peak Seinfeld years. I would have been 16 when it wrapped.

You are right on the safety thing, but with newer cars you have a reasonable expectation of not dying in an accident even in the smallest vehicles. So I concur with Mr boxrocket. The NC Miata is a good choice. The Miata wasn’t crash tested by IIHS in America, but the 2002 was crash tested by EuroNCAP

Well yeah, but this is a serious subject that is just not addressed enough on this website. I remember one time coming out to find this in my driveway.

They are meant to be cool and flashy and more driver-focused, but they are focused more on luxury than performance.

The Mustang is abit two faced. The Mustang non-premium is very much classic Mustang, shitty interior and all. My Mustang EB Premium sans performance pack is effectively a 2016 Ford Thunderbird.

Huh, that’s a shock. When I read your original comment I instantly thought “well, he’s obviously commenting by using an IPoAC internet connection”.

A fine chance to polish off this old chestnut

No silly, they’re talking about corn, not porn.

This one always made me giggle.

Similar but not quite. USA-193 was on a decaying orbit that would have reentered the atmosphere anyways. The Indian satellite was on a stable low earth orbit.

How about taking a ride down the Pacific Coast on a Pacific Coast?

I would like to take this moment to mention this somewhat related fact:

Another factor is that the UAW and UNIFOR (and CAW before it) have long has a very close relationship working together. There is no similar Auto Workers union in Mexico, and I think we all know how the UAW feels about non-union plants.
