I don’t know. I really meant what I said earlier. The more you try to force this place to make sense the worse it looks. At the end of the day, you aren’t driving around hanging from the outside of your car admiring it. You are of course driving from the inside. I for one am willing to forgive a few exterior styling foibles.  I am less inclined to forgive stupidity when it comes to the interior.  And this interior is simply gorgeous.

I thought the Colorado/D-Max was a joint GM/Isuzu design.  GM provided the transmission and US engines, Isuzu provided much of the rest of the truck and overseas diesel engines.  At least for the first generation.  I don’t know the pedigree of the 2nd generation.
