The Devil Drives a Mustang (Rotary Pending)

I remember reading about the tweets yesterday where President Trump called for unity and offered the usual generic platitudes and I was thinking “He so didn’t write this himself. This feels like some White House staffer wrote it instead.” You know, like an actual professional President would.

Oops! I forgot my source.

It gets weirder than that. One was not sent directly to Congressman Wasserman-Schultz. Rather, all of the packages had the Congressman’s adress on it as the return address. The package that was sent to Eric Holder was undeliverable due to an error in addressing so was sent back to the return address, which was again

The approach angle is markedly lower than the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro’s 35 degrees

I think it’s a sharp looking sedan. It vaguely reminds me of an electric Mazda 3, and it’s not a bad look. I still wouldn’t buy one though. While I am favorable about the exterior I absolutely can’t stand the interior. And at the end of the day, I am not driving around on a trailer 6 feet behind the car admiring how

Owned a 2009 Chevrolet.  Nothing had changed much by then either.  I think the engine and transmission were the only things to work right.

The Tesla already has a 375 volt electrical system and the batteries are rated at 500 amps approximately. Can it really be too hard to add a Magnavolt anti-theft system?

This reminds me of one time when I was in the car with my daughter listening to her radio station, and they played “When We Were Young” by Adele. The DJ said something that made me chuckle:

I think I saw this in my daughter’s room when she was little.

I would say the only exception to your list is the Beetle. It was produced for 13 model years before getting a 2nd generation which soldiered on for another 7 model years.

I don’t think I would call it “gross”.  I really meant what I said; I am not sure if I like it or not.  But I don’t think it’s a downgrade from the current Camaro schnozz.

Not sure if I like it or not, but hood art should become a thing again.

2008 Fit? 60,000 miles? That’s only 6,000 miles a year.

Battletech made a pass at handling that with Protomechs where pilots were tucked inside the armor in a (VERY uncomfortable) fetal position wearing a neural helmet that redirected motor inputs to the armor. Protomechs were then rightly rejected during one of Battletech’s many revisions.

Since the movies did such a shitty job of depicting the armor described in the novel (admittedly that was due to budgetary reasons), here is a fan picture of what it could look like

I think we all know the correct answer to the weight problem. Powered exoskeleton armor

Buses should certainly never be driven by pigeons.

but how often does the consumer win at a dealership?!

Exhaust megaphone is my guess. Rotates HATE any back pressure so back in the day rotary race cars would run exhaust megaphone to drop exhaust back pressure to nearly zero and keep exhaust velocity up.
