I wouldn’t presume Dan Snyder, a famous idiot, to know anything about anything.

Yeah, a super-strong child who doesn’t know how to control it! Duh.

I have never been in the situation that they have been in, but what I will say is that there’s a lot of pressure on actors to stay in character while cameras are rolling (which is also a difference between Yi and Rushdie’s experiences). Some performers take that pressure more seriously than others. Not a judgment,

It’s not small

they mention it offhandedly late in season one. i remember because i just about fell out of my chair after watching these bridgeport-ass characters for so long

this barely qualifies as a teaser. this teaser could’ve been an email

I assume the fact that he’s turning into his former psycho head chef Joel McHale is not lost on him.

yeah seems clear they made that little aside specifically for people who may not know that.

On the other hand, after Dungeons & Dragons, I prefer him over Chris Pratt in the charismatic goofball role.

also always respect the absolute gall of the coen bros to make THAT as their followup to fargo.

“All the ratty-ass Dude wanted was his skimmer net back...”

So I totally get it if you don’t like his shtick or whatever. Not everybody likes the same thing and that is fine. But the idea that he is not likeable in general is silly. His whole hugely successful career is based on his likability, and his IS still hugely popular and followed. Sure, his recent relationship issues

I get the impression sometimes that what a site like this wanted was a full expose and perhaps mea culpa on his addiction, divorce, and rehab and that anything less (like say, a comedy special) is obfuscating the truth.

I thought it was a great special and bracingly self-critical without straying from its overall

What a bizarre critique. The special was funny;  like, really fucking funny. He revealed as much as he needed to in order to make the jokes work. Not every special needs to be doing some sort of Hannah Gadsby style confession.

Jean Smart was SO good playing Deborah hosting Late Night, when she’s sitting at the desk after the show with the camera shooting her from behind, all I could think was “Jean Smart should host a late night show”. (Is there anything this woman couldn’t do?)

The AV Club

No, I just thought maybe you had put a child’s wig on backwards.”

This line made me burst out laughing. Looking forward to watching these two play off each other again.

He claims the series implied that he sexually abused child actors and employees he worked with at Nickelodeon

Look at the comments by Radcliffe and the comments by Rowling, and tell me which is the more reasoned response by a happier person.
