I’ve never understood the “no Batman” criticism. The show has plenty of problems, but they were very clear about it being a prequel to the Batman stories. Therefore, I never expected Batman to show up.

For me, its got to be The Verdict. The movie, with Paul Newman, is one of the all-time great legal dramas. The book, on the other hand, was worse than the worst John Grisham novel I've read. Forumalic plot, flat characters, trope after trope-ity trope.
