Don’t kink shame. If Jason was to get freaky with an escalator, well, I’m sure it’ll be good for a lot of clicks.

Condemn the NFL. Seize ownership and give it to the fans of the cities they reside in (see Green Bay Packers).
Today, sure. But the racing world was in a very very different place 32yrs ago.
There’s good reason why this shit will get you disqualified, you’re putting the lives of everyone working in the pit lanes at risk.
“We design all of those Trail Rated elements from the ground up… it’s not just a marketing term.”
Frankly, a LSD, skids plates and a bit more ground clearance is all most people need to get a bit more outdoorsy. The target market for the “overlanding look” is people who want to drive on some dirt roads and camp off the grid...... No one buying a timberline is taking it to MOAB and running rock crawling trails.
I understand the reasoning, yet, some manufacturers still find a way to design in good sightlines while still meeting crash standards and aero.
The prius can get really close to this actually. I can turn the touchscreen actually OFF i can turn the hybrid system indicator off and the only light comes from the very dim ac controls and the speedo.
Ever increasing crash safety requirements play a big part in the high belt lines and extra thick pillars. Endless aerodynamic efficiency efforts make things even worse.
Tilt settings can usually be disabled. On my car, when then mirror adjustment switch is set to the passenger side, that side mirror tilts. Any other positions and the auto tilt is disabled.
Because fuck light pollution in the cabin.
I think most cars, the auto-tilt only works when that mirror has the selector switch flipped to the passenger mirror position.
I can see this working well on unibody trucks and SUVs. But their is so much hate for minivans in the US that it'll never happen.
Fabric seats on higher trim level cars. It’s warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer, doesn’t require maintenance, and the bolsters don’t look like shit from cracking after three years. There is nothing better than the plaid in a GTI but they have ditched that on all but the base model.
Cloth, alcantara, or some kind of fabric option to leather on upper-trim level and higher-end cars. I never liked burning my ass in the summer or sliding around in the seat going through the turns.
Less “features”. I would like to see physical buttons again. Having to navigate a menu to increase the A/C fan speed, or turn on heated seats, is ridiculous. The “luxury” of a screen is usually that it provides access to deeper options and control, while at the same time making really simple things unnecessarily hard.…
Auto tilt side mirrors. The best are the ones that tilt down AND inward to clearly show the curb. My Lexus does this and it’s better than using the cameras.
I would !like to see more vehicles with excellent outward visibility via a low beltline and larger glass area.
Adaptive cruise control! Nothing pisses me off more on a road trip than some ass clown passing me, just to get in front of me and slow down.
