Exactly. How does one not bring an emergency beacon if you have young children at home?

In the few times it’s happened to me, they check the bag for free if there’s no overhead space. If it’s checked that late in the game, I imagine the chances it’s sent to the wrong destination are a lot smaller. However, I hate having to wait around at baggage claim once I’ve arrived at my destination.

Perhaps the title of the magazine is intended to demonstrate a high level of self-awareness?

Really more so than the price, is the waiting to pick it up the bag after landing. I would rather have my bag near me at all times. Plus, we’ve all heard those stories of people’s bags being sent to the wrong destination.

Yes. We always do digital boarding passes so my poverty is better concealed.

Also, I didn’t realize that attempting to board a plane early makes me worse than rapists, murderers, etc. Strange value system you have there.

I don’t rush past anyone. We just walk up and board the plane. I blame the people who use up disproportionate amounts of overhead space. You sound like a lovely person.

This is disheartening. We were having a lot of success with American. Perhaps they’re paying more attention now because of jerks like me. Oops.

Do something good for the kids

I can definitely see that being the case with Southwest and no assigned seats. We flew American a lot, and never had a problem (outside of the time I got a little trigger happy and tried to board with first class).

There’s also the fact that a lot of airlines board aisle seats LAST.
