Unfortunately that’s the kind of thinking that got GM and Detroit in trouble in the 70s to the 00s. You think these leaders would have learned something but the auto industry breeds a special kind of asshole attitude and thinking.

Is it me, or does that interior looks like its from an early 2000s Jeep?

Very depressing news for the sedan, especially the full sized rwd breed. I grew up with a full sized GM sedan in the 80s and while I would have loved a van as a kid, that Oldsmobile gave me an appreciation for being close to the ground. It will be a sad day when the American full sized dies.

Definitely a scam for sure. I always got letters about my 350z from a local Nissan dealer in metro Detroit when I lived there. Last year, I was selling my Z and for shits and giggles, I called a local Chevy dealer here in Chicago for a quote since they advertised buying cars. My Z was an 03 track model with 53k miles

Believe it or not, my brother still has a stock 95 GS-T. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been driven in over 5 years.

This needs to be a recurring article on Jalopnik, some great posts on here!

I’ve heard Dallas is also a great market for finding a quality, rust free car but their recently flooding in different parts of the state could make some cars suspect. I mean, they do have a reality show about Dallas auto auctions!

Yes we drive some pretty shitty death traps in Michigan!

Man, that’s pretty terrible. But the amount for rust in the rocker panels and rear, I don’t think it can make it very far!

Great topic! Love to see some of the garbage that is posted for sale!

Sergio has a one track mind thats going to drive him mad! He reminds me of a friend that I have, ask him a question about a random topic and he will turn it around to talk about himself. He does the same when the topic is about you. What an a-hole!

I feel the same way. Some people have some pizza hatred out there!

1. Local pizza place sucks. I have one in my building that is terrible and over priced.

Andrew, you started an up roar here. Here i thought I would be reading comments about the converted Spark and all I see is bitching about how bad Domino’s pizza tastes! WTF!

Not as weird as some of these others, but I came across this 80s Chevy/GMC Topkick with a dully bed in Porter, IN. As my friend said, the redneck is strong in him.

Have they released the dimensions of this car? When I first saw it, I couldn’t help to think this new Civic is as big as a 90s Accord.

The Toyota HiAce has been around a long time around the world. Think the modern Toyota van from the 80s that never came over. I’m sure it didn’t because sitting over the front axle isn’t very safe or would pass off set crash testing. Hello crushed legs.

All of the engine choices should have a 6 speed manual as an option. Getting tired of companies doing away with manuals, we want more control!

If my memory serves me correctly, the first few years of the Prowler were slow using the standard 3.5 liter. Chrysler revised the engine for a sportier trim of the 300M which was also used in the Prowler and improved its 0 to 60 times.

I do like how they are geared to do over 50 mph in the first gear! The Impala with the 3.5 liter 4 speed auto was the same.
