The Toyota HiAce has been around a long time around the world. Think the modern Toyota van from the 80s that never came over. I’m sure it didn’t because sitting over the front axle isn’t very safe or would pass off set crash testing. Hello crushed legs.

All of the engine choices should have a 6 speed manual as an option. Getting tired of companies doing away with manuals, we want more control!

If my memory serves me correctly, the first few years of the Prowler were slow using the standard 3.5 liter. Chrysler revised the engine for a sportier trim of the 300M which was also used in the Prowler and improved its 0 to 60 times.

I do like how they are geared to do over 50 mph in the first gear! The Impala with the 3.5 liter 4 speed auto was the same.

After our collective family (parents and brother) experiences with Ford, I am 95% sure I would never buy one. On the flip side, we have had some good luck with GM other than the occasional trans isssue. We have has 2 Saturns, 3 Oldsmobiles, 1 Chevy and 2 Pontiacs. If i count my in laws, it goes up more since he worked

What a jerk, what did the Chevy Suburban do to anyone?

I used to do this kind of hoonage in my parents 94 Olds Silhouette with the 3800. Never really smoked the tires but there was enough torque to squeal the tires. I guess all of that bad driving in my youth screwed up the transmission 3 to 4 years later.

That is one fine lookin 77-79 Delta 88!

Detroit’s People Mover.........

That price is ridiculous! I’d love to have a Supra of this vintage (mind you I HATE Toyotas except for this car, MR2s and Land Cruisers) but that price is nuts. There are alot of cars I would rather get for that price.

FCA and their overlords need to expand their horizons outside of Detroit and look to other firms to partner with. There are plenty of suiters with deep pockets that would be interested in FCA’s American and European presence. HANDS OFF DETROIT MARCHIONNE!

Teal was the color of the 90s. Had a 2 dr 1994 Chevy Cavalier that was teal or what was left of it in 2002.

Other than this deal taking a few valuable pieces out of FCA, it makes no sense.

That was a real gem! Haha

I am surprised the Mustang fastback didn’t make the cut. Not sure this has been done yet, but next should be list of the worst cars Bond drove. Ford LTD, Lincoln Mark VI, Renault. ..... the list is endless!

Any technical specs on the engine or trans? I can’t imagine Oshkosh will be making it in house.

This post is by far the worst collection of car photos I have ever seen! My eyes burn from looking at these.....things!

Andy’s comments to the Detroit News and now online at CNBC are hilarious. I am dying laughing reading this at work. “Tiger logistics” and “tiger rage”, classic! Truly a story that can only be from Detroit!

You are sooo right about number 1. Everytime I walk up to my G8, I have a big ass smile on my face. It’s too bad I can drive it like I stole it here in the city.

You guys at Jalopnik must love my comments about our old L series to posted this photo. I shed a tear every time I see one......
