These L76 posts just ruined my day. Going to have to really baby my G8 now...
How was the air traffic noise from Hartsfield? It’s crazy that their NA headquarters is located at the foot of northern runways.
I think the car is conflicted, Ford up front and on the steering wheel, a Mercury in the rear
The Mercedes Benz G wagon, thats old school. I sat in one at the Chicago Auto show this year, its sweet but a fricken death trap. The doors are thinner than my computer monitor!
Nice car for its age but about $8k too much! Pontiac did love having a ton of switches back in the 80s and 90s
As a kid, I remember seeing the Voyager 3 at the Detroit Auto Show. If this came out in 1989, I had to have been at the first NAIAS!
So true on point 3. I wanted a sports car really bad when I graduated high school in 1997. When the rents said hell no, I looked for the fastest car with 4 doors that was reasonably priced. Interesting horsepower number. Paying tribute to the 734 area code in the western Detroit suburbs? Western Wayne County!
Man that would have been one sweet Custom Cruiser in 1991! I am surprised I don’t remember this concept.
In hindsight, I wish I bought the GXP! Hope the G8 GT also holds its value!
Who is going to be the one-upper with the 12 speed tranny? This madness needs to end!
I concur. People are amazed at how much leg room there is in my G8 and I'm 6ft. Definitely more that the W platform Impala. Also, my wife and I used it on 4 different moves, its holds alot!
No direct successor to the ATS and CTS?! This really worries me.....
My dad’s 2000 Saturn LS1 had and all grey interior, good times!
When I first saw Davis Monthan, I was in shock to see how big it was, old planes everywhere! Take a look on Google maps, its crazy to see how much money is sitting in the desert. There is another airfield called Pinal Airpark in between Tucson and Phoenix that is a commercial plane grave yard. Definitely another…
As a resident, I am loving these Chicago stories. Keep em coming!
It's amazing how long this body style lasted.
I like how the pack of smokes is carefully placed with one cig sticking out. Looks very naturally!
