The lure of a new #1 is too great for comic companies any more, I think.

Might have to pick this up in trades. Guess that makes me part of the problem. :-/

It's certainly no Shamorck Shake but I'd try it.

No, definitely time for a rewatch!

I need to rewatch the older Samurai Jack seasons, but I remember thinking that Aku's utter evil was more talked about than truly seen. And with him being such a charismatic villain, it's easy to like him and wonder what Jack is so uptight about. This episode did a lot to show just why Jack needs to stop Aku, but it

Perhaps this IS the Samurai Jack movie that Genndy was planning for so long.

As Chadford pointed out, a good writer could grapple with these themes. Do it in a way that is real, funny, and not preachy. But I guess that's another show and another writer.

Bingo. You should write this show.

A Punisher series at this point might have made a little more sense.

Does Iron Fist even wear his costume in this show? Because bland guy in street clothes kung-fu-fighting just doesn't intrigue me all that much.

And it's typical of our current age that a goofy martial arts comic book hero becomes a cultural battleground.

He could be like, an Asian California surfer dude.

It's a case where they cast someone who looks exactly like the character on the page, and there's an uproar. You can't claim Marvel wasn't being authentic, at least.

I saw something round with multi-color lights floating over a local road recently, and pulled over to watch. Another car was stopped and a guy was shouting, "It's a UFO, man, a UFO!" I drove on a little further and saw the drone/remote control UFO operator in his driveway.

Pence said he noticed the boos and told his daughter, "That's what freedom sounds like." And he heard what the cast was saying, wasn't bothered and tried to be reassuring in an interview. How Pence of all people can sound rational and presidential, and Trump can't let it go… ugh, what a mess.

That would be the end of the electoral college, but what a way to go out!
