I sure as hell would be annoyed by a chatty driver.

Ah, thank you for that explanation - I was also puzzled by that!
I found that odd as well, as I am a 50 yo ADD sufferer and the only person with peanut allergies I know is my niece.... Strange comment.
I’m trying to grok this — how only when it became Take Your Kid to Work Day, it got worse because of the boy with ADD and a peanut allergy, because it screwed up the office and lunchroom. It puzzles me, because neither of those things are gender linked. I have ADD myself, and one of my best friends (also female) has a…
IT’S AVRIL LAVIGNE ALL OVER AGAIN
They had a secretary, but she was the owner’s daughter so I learned about nepotism too. :D
My grandmother raised me, so she took me to her job in a cabinet shop where they built kitchens, office conference tables, restaurant countertops, and those claw machines. It was pretty boring, but definitely means THE WORLD to me now. Also, a started crying when I saw a huge palmetto bug coming right for me, so she…
God no, I was 11. I *did* get to turn on the roasting machine after he switched out a part and start up a 2 ton roast. Lol. Then my sister got to vacuum seal it after one of my dad’s friend’s daughter ran the grinder. We drew straws!
It’s true that it was in the middle of Secretaries Week, but my dad brought it up with his union steward and the company’s floor supervisor (both ladies) and he got to bring me and my sister to the Folger’s plant where he worked as a mechanic. It was awesome.
Cool.
It was an incredibly empowering thing for my family, and a lot of families.
and everybody here is laughing it off and pretending like it could never be an issue...
Loudest Bernie Sanders critic on Jez has a dad that worked for the Clintons. Well, no shit. And now he’s a CEO of a magazine? I’m betting nepotism is alive and well.
As an avid foreign policy reader who had no idea of the connection, this is fucking crazy.
These poor little white boys who might be 16 before they have a chance to see a white male president. How will they know it is even possible?
This reminds me of when Take Your Daughter to Work Day was painted as an evil, small-minded thing. I was in middle school I think when it started, and my mom read about it in the paper or something, and she was so excited to take me to work, introduce me to everyone, give me small tasks, and show me that women can be…
How dare you. I live every day like I’m Benjamin Harrison.
Huh. Breitbart ends their interviews with Trump and his campaign surrogates with the same question. Perhaps you guys aren’t so different after all...
