Gravity is either flattered or pissed off.
It gives me very ‘90s vibes.
Doing exactly what they’re paid to do: marketing!
To say nothing of the fact that Diana would only have access to 1980s-level birth control...
but it seems odd WB was CLEARLY trying to be Marvel, and failed
Somehow, writer-director Patty Jenkins figured out a way to make a movie in the DC Extended Universe that casual viewers could watch and follow with almost no knowledge of the DC Extended Universe. And that’s pretty great.
This was by far the most interesting movie DC has done with the current Justice League roster (although it still wasn’t quite up to Shazam! standards, and I’ve been avoiding the Joker/Suicide Squad antihero stuff), and much better than the first one.
The movie was pretty bad, in a boring, drawn out, badly written and bad CGI sort of way. Once it passed it’s protected pre-release review status and went to a full release on Christmas, it’s ratings have been plummeting. Look at any of the reviews pre release versus any of the reviews post release. It had it’s…
My biggest surprise is that I didn’t completely hate the CGI Cheetah. I was thinking “Cats” the entire time, but dare I saw it was done almost tastefully? Probably a good thing it was a hold out for the end, as I think excessive screen time would have changed my opinion.
With great themes like “you can’t win until it’s your time,” “don’t dream because everything’s already beautiful,” and “having your wishes fulfilled sucks” in this one, I can’t wait for the third one.
Just because people watched it for free at home( we don’t know why they subscribe for hbo max) doesn’t mean they liked it. If it was dplus premium where folks paid above and beyond $30 like mulan maybe you could say folks were interested but Christmas day locked down for free new movie sure I'll check it out. WB might…
It should be obvious that Warner Bros. never understood how shared universes work...
Hopefully they get a better writer for the next one. The last half of WW84 was just a mess.
I was honestly stupid underwhelmed by it considering how much I liked the first one. It was too bad because I was really excited for it to be set in the 80s. Massive amount of drops there.
It’s not free if you pay a subscription.
Whatever enthusiasm I had for the franchise withered away as the closing credits rolled. I was fantastically disappointed in this movie. And I am someone who gets all googlie eyed at the sight of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. But the shoddy craftsmanship of this movie was rather shocking in places. It felt lazy in…
Biggest disappointment of the year in film and I saw Tenet in theaters. This film deserved so much more. Im not surprised the RT rating has dropped every day since release.
Okay, most people who watched it got it for free and most of those didn’t really like it that much, but... they DID watch it! So...
