We really do have a president who does not view the job as a step up or the perks as a lifestyle upgrade. He prefers his penthouse to the White House and his own plane to Air Force One. The first words out of his mouth at Camp David will probably be “are there ticks?”

To be fair, he has a point about this:

She looks great. I’m kind of shocked to have to say that her feet don’t fit those shoes because... why in the hell am I noticing her feet at all?

Excellent NRA point. Though... I think you’d be in your rights to use the weapon and to detain the vandal until actual police arrived, but that demanding payment at the scene would be a step too far in the US.

Thing is... he was also still robbed at gunpoint. I get that the story he told was false but it is not typical “law and order” that private security guards can draw weapons on you and demand cash payment for a crime they’re accusing you of. If you come to my apartment and break my door and I point a gun at you and

If they had somebody draw Mohammeds on each bill, I’m fine with it.

Of course they do. But maybe they don’t have the right to have their offense taken seriously or catered to.

Sorry, religious people — you don’t have the right to tell others, who may or may not be religious, not to draw your gods and monsters.

You’re picking on this guy in a world where Arthur Chu exists?

Now come on:

It’s their fucking job, in the dark, in alligator infested waters, to dive in to save people who drove into the pond while evading pursuit? I hope you’re never anybody’s boss, ever.

That’s horrible.

I agree with you, though I guess I don’t fault the police, in this instance, for not taking extraordinary risks to save them. In the more common, “suspect ran so I started shooting,” stories I pretty much never side with the police. But, “suspect ran, put themselves in danger and I’d have had to put myself in danger

“But instead of promoting that, fight promotion company/lapse of judgement factory the UFC plans to pull the plug on McGregor’s UFC 200 fight entirely.”

“A bunch of Fred Astaire’s they ain’t.”

Cena sucks. I’d vote for Lesnar, though.

If she exonerates Steven Avery, I can’t imagine why she wouldn’t immediately go for the double play. The same physical evidence would likely exonerate Brendan as well, in spite of his coerced confession.

I really wish I’d read this before I’d sent her those pics. How do I undo?

Localization should be about things making sense, not about catering to local prudery.
