  • Making cars more fuel efficient makes cars more expensive no matter which way you slice it.

LOL wut?

There’s no way this is better than Hillary. I’ll take mediocrity over a dumpster fire taking a raging shit on twitter every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Now playing

Lamborghini is right. You don’t want just any ordinary pleb to get their grubby hands and cheapen their product.

Step 1: Design and develop uber-SUV

I must say, their commonplace nature is certainly what kept ME from purchasing one.

Why did they even develop and sell the Urus then? If the goal is brand preservation and exclusivity, then stick to exotic supercars that mortals rarely see. Any OEM jumping into the SUV market is trying to 1) maximize profits, 2) increase volume, and 3) increase adoption/brand awareness - 3 things which don’t seem to

Re 1st:

It’s mind blowing that the « experts » on that site thinks that if bmw name their cars with different numbers for different body styles, they suddenly make more models ?

Ground clearance on a Kia Soul or Toyota C-HR is almost an inch lower than on a Corolla and the Soul is almost identical to the old pre-Protege 323. And my Jetta is several inches taller than the 323 hatch was (and almost as tall as a current GLA. And the Jetta has higher ground clearance than the C-HR)

Twitter is the worst trend on Twitter.

I see your point, but can’t help but feel 90% of this problem would be fixed by just bringing back some sweet, sweet sidewall.

How many crossovers or SUVs get the fuel economy and the low emissions of a Hyundai Ioniq? It is more than comfortable on long highway drives and was thousands cheaper than a crossover. Recession 2019 is about to hit and the SUV/Truck/crossover market is about to take a nose dive again. Honestly I wish we would

I’m tired of all the bitching from Jalopnik staff about SUVs. A bunch of New Yorker city folk who don’t even drive everyday trying to tell the rest of America what we should be buying. Ironic since they rarely buy new cars anyways, yet want a say on what manufacturers should be building.

Save yourself 30 or 40 grand and buy a used R35. Seriously, FUCK YOU Nissan! My days of dreaming for the Idx or a kick-ass, brand new from the ground up- Z are waaaaay long gone. And yet you have the audacity to charge more for pretty much the same R35 that was built 5 or so years ago. Yet the Versa gets updated more.

More like Subearu... right?

Bears. It’s what make’s a Subaru, a Subaru.

God help us if bears start driving. They can’t keep it between the yellow lines
