I asked Tom because he seems to have the most coming through and this is what he... diplomatically said:

Has anyone else noticed the sudden upsurge in repeat posts?

The whole earth is a ship flying through space.

Since all the tectonic plates float on magma, we all live on boats too and are not subject property tax.

This is one of the most entertaining comments I’ve ever read on Jalopnik. Thanks.

I was the 37th owner of a VW bus aboard the Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (before it became famous). The front face of the Type 2 had rusted away into shapes that were quite clearly teeth, it was missing about four feet of floor, and badly spray painted on the left side were the words “No Fat Chicks.” All

Are you and your company deeply tied to the leader of a regime who is invading a foreign country? Is your company the result of massive graft and you were able to purchase a state owned company for pennies on the dollar? Is your wealth tied to corruption and being best buds with a maniac with delusions of recreating

the real moral of the story is that private companies cannot be relied upon to prioritize safety over profits, and need to be regulated more closely by outside entities.

Hello from Jalopnik!
Many engines will burn about a quart between service intervals (often 10,000 to 15,000 miles today) and you’ll find that the automaker and its technicians will find such burn to be completely normal.

Carolina Squat trucks wish they were as cool as donks

The direct cost to my wife and I of this increase is zero, because we’ve made choices. We live walking distance to work for her. I cycle to work most days. We bought an EV that I use on the days I don’t cycle to work. (Sometimes I don’t feel like doing a 33-mile round trip commute in the rain.)

That’s the post 2000 GOP, maybe post Nixon GOP even, in a nutshell. And it’s only getting more extreme with the rise of social media echo chambers.

Funny how a party that wants to erase black history and bully trans kids, can be perfectly fine with a law like this. It’s time for us on the Left to get the shitkickers out and start cracking skulls. At the polls. On the streets.

...you are harassing and threatening the lives of the very American people you claim to hold so dear.

Like by me, in Colorado, i think they got rid of most mask requirements. I have no idea what these clowns are out there fighting for? I guess in many ways its good to not give them any attention. There is a real war on, so how redneck truckers feel is far from my concern.

If it weren’t for the fact that the people most likely to use the defense probably support the truckers, it seems valuable to point out that Virginia has a Stand Your Ground Law on the books. Ya know, for the truckers’ safety; it sure would be a shame for folks to get shot when they aggressively approach people

Lightweight, cheap to buy and run, simple, and manual-equipped. A lot of people (mostly around here) would dig it if only their heads weren’t so far up their asses.

And, with BMW eliminating dispsticks in favor of electronic level sensors in the late 2000s, the Germans have been able to turn around and play the same trick on many unsuspecting owners!

Plus, they’ll never assume it was sabotaged. They’ll just assume it broke becuase it was French. Although that does kind of make the sabotage redundant.
