I don’t agree with it but I can see abolishing prisons maybe, possibly if a very well thought out plan was ready to be put in place so deal with the violent offenders. I have yet to see one though other than references to some rehabilitation gobbledygook.

“Abolish borders, abolish prisons”

Yet while crossing the border without permission is a crime, unlawful presence in the United States isn’t (a crime).

I had a really good rapport with a checkout person at Target. She would greet me warmly and we would have a short conversation of what we were doing this weekend. But one day I made the mistake of turning around at the door instead of leaving only to hear her treat the next guy the same way. I was so crushed.

I like the cut of your jib. Let’s be friends.

What if the stakeout or raid is for purposes of thwarting human trafficking or child prostitution?

WOW! What a false narrative and a bunch of lies!

I used to tip my Starbucks barista because they knew my name and treated me like a regular. Then I started going to a different Starbucks because reasons; the barista started trying to remember my name after a few visits and then I realized that it’s probably part of the job, so nothing special was happening and

Nice spam of misinformation. This has been going on for over a decade and everyone knows it. Those pictures of kids in cages are from the Obama term. You’ve been bamboozled by CNN again.

It’s President Trump, not Donald Trump. Regardless, it’s not “his” policy to separate criminals from their children. The policy has been in effect for years. And if I break the law anywhere inside our border, I will also be separated from my family. Stupid article written by a simple mind.

Trump’s policies? I thought Obama signed that legislation into law?

Welp, Aimée Lutkin, thank you for making it clear Kotaku will no longer have my patronage. I’ve never posted a comment in the years I’ve read this site...but I’ve also never seen it publish a ‘How to’ on subverting some our most fundamental laws and, in the cases of repeat illegal reentry offenders, accessories to

And, in other news, the citizens of Pompeii have decided, after the eruption of Vesuvius, that living by an active volcano is a bad idea.

All I’m saying, regardless of the motivation behind the decision, if a restaurant refused service to an Obama official you guys would lose your collective minds. Don’t start with the “Obama never threw children in cages” because those photos were taken during his presidency.

Yes, the solution to the excesses of J. Edgar Hoover wasn’t abolishing the FBI; it was reforming it into one of the best, most respected law-enforcement agencies in the world.

I’m not so sure. If it only brings about a way to enforce immigration law in as described then it would be probably be worth it. It’s the first time I’ve heard anyone discuss what happens post-ICE. It’s nice and very in the moment to call for the abolishment of ICE but there is an after that needs to be dealt with or
