...It fell apart towards the last act (though it prob fell apart earlier than that). Also maybe the worst final boss in the entire franchise history. I later learned that cut content and tie in media there would have been a grand final battle.

Glad I am almost done with the game played a few classes to max before the formal live services battlepass starts. I can safely ignore all that non-sense, get my lore bits, have some fun and be free till the diablo itch hits a year or two later.

The meltdown is overstated, its only a small % of popular subs that are participating. If there are 140,000 reddit pages than only 3000 or so are playing hardball 

I am still suffering with very small subs who’s power mods have taken the site down. These subs have 13k members and barely needs access to 3rd party mods to function. Why would an r\HOA still be down at this point. Message the moderator tells you to take it with reddit your displeasure.

I hope that there are many out there who just play for the Story, maybe try a few classes out and eventually stop playing until the “bug” hit you with “oh man maybe I’ll run a few greater rift equivalents in Diablo IV this week”. No desire for a live service diablo as Immortal sullied that experience

I cannot see them adapting LOTP2 without making major changes to how the story/narrative plays out, with the twist having to be far later in that season. Again I would not fault the show runners for coming up with their own FILLER ARC just to pad it out, specifically if this was a huge success for HBO. Just don’t go…
