Pay attention to when your loans are due, and remember to update your address so the loan company can send the bill to the correct address. Or better yet, just use online accounts (subject to availability in my day). I had my credit dinged because of a Sallie Mae loan I didn’t realize they were calling in.

My favorite Christmas movie will always be A Muppet Christmas Carol. It held up so well and having Michael Cane interacting with a mostly puppet cast was brilliant. I watch it every year and own the soundtrack.

I figured it was probably best not to assume any company did anything ethical unless its touted on the packaging, so I only ever buy eggs if the carton says organic free range eggs. But then free-range and “free-range” (thanks to a small porch) is still pretty misleading, so f it all.

I worked for a vet who docked ears/tails, and there was no anesthesia  involved. He put a rubberband around the base of the puppy’s tail, and around half a minute later used a pair of scissors to cut off the tail. He said they were so young (around 1 week old) that they wouldn’t remember it nor feel it.

I’m glad my current kitty is the exception to that pattern. She was declawed before we adopted her, but she is just the sweetest kitty in the world.
