Four more Avatar movies??? Good grief! I hope they’re straight to video.

I love coats. When I lived in New England I had a lovely collection of coats of all styles. Alas, now I live in South Florida where the coldest day last year ventured into the low 50s. However, for some reason, I do end up buying a jacket every year to use for the three days I’m back in the north for Thanksgiving.

You don’t sound disrespectful, just ignorant.

Thank you. I’ve been through some hurricane evacs before but never when I’ve owned a home. It’s a whole mother level of stress.

I know that the county used Key West city buses to move people out of the Keys. There were hotlines available for people tocall to get a pick up from other transit services.

I live in the Florida Keys and evacuated last night. I’m terrified my home will be destroyed but at least I know my pups and kitty are safe and sound now.

I have a nice assortment of succulents I arranged myself. My husband is a big tree guy so we have like 20 different fruiting trees in our yard. Let’s hope the currently fruiting lemon tree survives Irma!

Gap went balls deep into the Normcore trend and couldn’t get out in time to save itself. Those stores deserve to close and the clothes deserve to burn.

I don’t personally sign NDAs but my company does when it signs a contract with a collaborator. I know that I fall under that NDA. Def not excusing Google’s dodgyness, but they were so honest with you because they thought this wouldn’t be made public. NDAs are a whole nother issue entirely.

At my grandfather’s funeral [held at Zaleski’s], our great Uncle brought out the Superbowl ring he got as the head janitor of Heinz Field. Clearly Uncle Henry was the real star that day.

I’m glad Taylor had to experience wearing a hideous empire waist chiffon bridesmaid gown. Even makes her look bad!

Toddler hugs are magic! I thought I would be child-free for life, but my little niece gave me a hug that completely changed my mind.

Oh wow, that’s really tough. My cousin went through something similar. If there is a bright side (and this is only anecdotal), her daughter is so outgoing and confident around people and they attribute it to her having lots of non-parental human interaction when she was a wee thing. Her parents are way more reserved,

I returned the Bite primer after I used it (normally wouldn’t do) out of principle because I was so disappointed in it.

Do you know of a line of makeup/skincare that’s safe for pregnant women?apparently, not only do I have to stop use of retinol but also my benzoyl peroxide wash. :( I just wonder how many of my other products aren’t recommended for pregnant women.

He was!! He was not having any of that dude’s bullshit.

I was listening to Joshua Johnson on NPR’s 1A this morning, and he brilliantly compared the monuments to t-ball participation trophies. He said why are we celebrating the losers? The pro-monument guy (Sons of the Confederacy member) was tongue tied. I cackled!

I’m happy to see that you and I are on basically the same regimen re: Vit C serum, moisturizer sunscreen and retinol. I get complements from strangers about my complexion, so I guess those must be the magic ingredients. I’m bummed because I have to ditch the retinol once I’m pregnant.

Spill it, sister. What do you use to get your flawless skin?

Really gorgeous picture, tho.
