Also, I feel it is my duty to instill fear into people who think ants are relatively harmless. There aren’t a great deal of scientists studying ants or invasive ant movement into previously uninfested areas. But trust, ants are playing the long con and will eventually take over our planet.

Agreed. Ticks should be the last on the list for the reasons you mention. Plus, bed bugs are annoying but they don’t transmit disease.
