Way harsh, Jia.
Way harsh, Jia.
Ooh, this is really cool! Thanks!
Why did you go back to the pill?
I'm afraid to switch from the pill because I rely on it as a acne treatment as well as contraceptive. Why can't they make an IUD that helps keep my skin clear? I've heard some horror stories of women getting serious hormonal acne while on an IUD.
Wow! Good idea!
I was really surprised Zika was considered #11 on your list, but then you relisted it at its rightful place at #1. Not only is it transmitted by the prolific athropophagic (prefers human blood) Aedes aegypti, but its possible for it to be sexually transmitted for more than SIX MONTHS after initial infection! And the…
Sadly, the closest decent theatre is about 150 miles, but Ghostbusters is worth it! Haven't tried dine-in movies yet. How does that work? Do you eat while watching? Wouldn't that be distracting? Eating popcorn and candy is mindless, but I would think articulating with a knife and fork would take some focus.
I never see any movies in the theatre anymore, but I am DEF going to see this opening weekend.
While I mostly agree with Mr. Doyle (although, I know his district has Aedes aegypti-vectored disease emergency response plan that does in fact include the use of aerial and truck mounted adulticide spraying), the vector control community is for HR 897.
I’ll be the odd one who is passionate about their job. But I have a tendency to be passionate about stuff, possibly to the point of obessive compuslive (it comes in handy when I’m doing field/lab experiments). I think it’s a control issue, too. I have a great deal of control over my work which I don’t think is very…
I hate the Sheisido sunscreen. What a complete waste of $40. It leaves a terrible white cast and smells pretty awful. I live in south Florida and also have a field job, so it’s lots of hats for me and I like First Aid Beauty’s 5 in 1 spf 30 face cream. If I know I’m going to out for awhile I’ll use Neutrogena’s spf 70…
I hate weddings. I’m ditching one today, actually. My entire family is there, but I just couldn’t bother. Weddings are just so predictable and formulaic. They’re all the same. I’m not a naturally giddy and happy person, and I hate being around super saccharine people, and weddings seem to bring out that terrible trait…
Right? I wanna buy that kid a pony.
Yeah, I’m 31 and married and still get this. I think my family has finally accepted it, but its strangers and their dumb opinions about ‘how I’ll change my mind’ that really irks me. I would like to know when that bullshit stops. Age 45 maybe? Menopause?
But she’s only a celebrity because of her talent! What a world, what a world.
I do the same! I love walking the treadmill and binge-watching mindless TV or reading. I don’t mind waking up early before work to workout because really, I’m still just watching TV.
I’m at the front lines of this debate and you have no idea the level of crazy.
Yeah. Hard pass.
I’m a very pale person who lives in the tropics and does a lot of field work, so I know sun protection. Besides always wearing a hat, I also use Neutrogena’s ultra sheer face and body stick in spf 70. It goes on so easily, hasn't caused eye-searing pain yet (and I get plenty sweaty), and protects pretty well. My sis…
I just made the same comment. The Keys coral are a landscape of white and grey graveyards.
