I'm in the middle of some calibrations

Fast and Furious was on a small budget, but sometime’s it’s really entertaining to see how even smaller budget films are made. I did the stunt driving on the 2017 Sundance award winning film “Gook” and they only had the budget for the hero car, with no stunt backups. All the vehicle stunts were done the last day of

I was reading your comment and thought “This is doubtful, because the only person this could happen to in real life is VadGTI... wait.” and then looked back up at your username and sure enough...

It’s been proven to only work on roads that aren’t straight.

Seriously. My daily is 1.5 years old, but the average age of my fleet is 27.1.

“Does WI have a state inspection that will throw your car off the road if it has rust through a body panel, a cracked windshield, or rusty fuel tank straps?”

Didn’t they raise the price on that to about $350k though?

I’m reading it more as “I have a certain budget, there are many cars in this range I’d love to own, and I’m having difficulty narrowing it down.”

I used to read a lot of books about exploring shipwrecks by Robert Ballard growing up. Your father’s truck really took me back.

*googles “how to determine if your mother-in-law is undead.”

Yeah, it’s crazy that people here choose 911's for when they don’t want to stand out.

Of the only two cars I’ve purchased brand new, ironically my Evo was the better car, and my “STI” was the better driver’s car.

Yeah, I remember so many impromptu cruises on SoCal freeways where multiple heavily modified cars would randomly come up on each other, acknowledge each other, and then form up into a formation until each of them took their individual exits. I’ve only had this happen once in the past ten years (my BRZ tS, an STI, and

In the drift scene, they had the same level of recognition as Top Secret, HKS, and Kei Office, maybe even more. Everyone knew the Signal Aqualine and Signal Splash graphics schemes, and the Signal drift twins really pioneered bringing drifting to the US.

I fondly recall Signal Auto. I even used to rock a pair of red Signal Auto “the Stage of Street” gloves back in my drifting days.

Must be the individual stations. All the Ktown ones have stuck to it religiously every time I’ve been there.

Most escalators in downtown LA stick to the walk left, stand right.

Saying you’re always in the middle of calibrating wheel offsets is great way to ward off the unwelcome flirting of frigate commanders.

I use vernier calipers, bolt gauges, scales, plum bobs, thread gauges, and build templates by hand.  I can do an entire car accurately in 20 minutes. A 3D scanner would be cool, but setup time would limit some opportunities.

That tea is covered by NDA’s.

I’m the design director of one of the world’s largest wheel manufacturers. Part of my job that doesn’t involve sketching wheels is when a new vehicle comes out (or an old one that hasn’t been checked yet) I go measure up the hubs, brakes, suspension, and fender clearances so the engineers can build computer models of
