Most Subaru dealers I’ve spoken with around SoCal try not to stock automatic BRZ’s because they sit on the lot for so long, whereas the manuals are often sold within a couple days of arriving.
I think one of the reasons the take rate for the BRZ is so high compared to the 86 is because many people cross shopping the two go for the BRZ if they love driving, as it offers the performance package with brembos that the 86 doesn’t. In addition, all of the recent 86 special editions are available in either…
I have never been so let down between the time I read the headline and the time I saw the actual colors available. I was expecting a handful of skittles, but the colors never filled in.
San Francisco is crazy in terms of parking. I had a friend living there who would park her car in an apartment garage 4 blocks from her apartment, because the garage attached to her actual apartment was being rented out separately for someone else’s car to park in.
True that. My mom (who turns 70 this year) got her Type-R at just below MSRP.
Those were definitely awesome cars back in the day, and I admire them every time I see one.
I’m guessing around 60-70 years from now.
Thanks! I’ve had two third gens. (And also two third gen parts cars.)
I have a BRZ also and would consider the Supra as an upgrade (and a throwback to the Supra I had in college.)
OMG. I remember spending hours with the enlarge and reduce function on copying machines cutting and piecing together wheels, aero kits, and graphics onto a photo of my ‘87 Supra before photoshop was really a thing.
So what you’re saying is that Porsche is the Apple of the car industry?
This would drive up the initial purchase price way too much.
Can confirm. My Kindle displayed a message that said “Going to try to get to Moab” then dissolved into a cloud of rust particles.
Besides the real exhaust tips and brushed aluminum grille surround, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference, which is really tragic for a car with my name on the title.
The non-S Q5 has fake tips too. I make fun of my wife’s car all the time for it, but she doesn’t care. Like 95% of Q5 owners.
