They have written all the music in the show.

To be really obnoxious--not fully.  Robert Lopez, half of the husband/wife team, helped Parker and Stone with the music and lyrics for Book of Mormon.  He also co-wrote with Jeff Marx the Ave Q songs (and with Marx wrote the songs for the Scrubs musical episode).  He started working with his wife--and got on the

If this show doesn’t have a Martha Plimpton “I think about you when I go to the bathroom” callback, I’m not interested.

I love that movie. But yes, Han/Indiana (Handiana Jonelo) as a deranged, abusive asshole was hard to swallow as a kid. It’s not a movie that many people talk about or seemingly remember. I hadn’t seen it in years and found the DVD at a thrift store. I didn’t remember Helen Mirren being in it - though I had no idea who

My employer has rapidly cancelled leases and replaced them with leases on much smaller spaces. The people who want to work in the office after this is all over are going to be the ones struggling to do so.

If you really want to level up, use grilled Oaxaca cheese as your filling for the Chihuahua cheese coated quesadilla -- take a hunk of Oaxaca and sear it until each side is dark brown and crispy and the inside is all melty and stringy. That’s how they do quesadillas in Oaxaca City and it changed my life!

The “them” was meant to reference SNL. Apologies for the lack of clarity on my end.

i also like “defending your life.”  all those pies!!!!

“lost in america” is wonderful. the bit about not using the words “nest” & “eggs” always gets me. a bird lives in a round stick & you have things over easy with toast! also, the scene where he talks to the casino manager (gary marshall) about getting his money back is great.

DL attendance has been flat but still record levels. It had a peak in 2015, dropped, then surpassed it in 2018 and 2019.

Broadcast News has been overshadowed by the many better journalism movies since, at least among the journalists I know.

So, I don’t really know anything about these characters or the Marvel universe in general, but I will say, I recently saw Paul Bettany in Uncle Frank and he was fantastic. I also think that Elizabeth Olson is great. And along with the trailer, I am all in on this.

Underworld is also really good, but note that vampires and werewolves don’t play as big a role in it as did the movie adaptation.

No, it’s not. They’re based on characters the creator grew up with like Laurel & Hardy and Pee-Wee Herman.

Maybe this is a difference between people who saw and loved the UK Office first and those who only knew the USA version. Compared to wonderfully awful David Brent I thought Michael Scott was way too soft and compromised, like they couldn’t go fully detestable on mainstream American TV.

You projecting your inability to comprehend that other people besides you are able to give a shit about issues that don’t immediately impact them says a lot more about you than it does them.

Corona may have it beat, but I hear you

I’ve sort of assumed that the books would go at this a little harder (or a little less... like in a C.S. Lewis-style loving criticism kind of way?).

Various non-fundamentalist Christian groups and media outlets have literally called for Pullman’s books to be burned in a bonfire. That’s how hard he strikes against religion.

I think Morrissey has the same problem Harlan Ellison had - if you keep up your Angry Young Man schtick for 3+ decades, you become a Grumpy Old Man.
